Cosmos in Sofia

Hands down the best restaurant experience I've had in Sofia! Everything was spot on when I visited Cosmos and there's not one thing I would have changed. The waiters are polite, well prepared and actually seem like they are enjoying their job. The owner adds an extra dimension to the restaurants vibe, with his sometimes flamboyant way of entertaining guests. I really enjoyed it. After trying a lot of the more expensive restaurants in Sofia in search for great food, only Cosmos has actually met my expectations. I ordered the Venison which was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend got veal cheeks which were the same. Couldn't have been better. I can highly recommend!

Great experience! Amazing service. You have an explanation for every dish, and a creative form of serving. Not cheap for Sofia but a good price for tourists.

My favourite restaurant not only in Sofia but probably in the whole universe. Always original, delicious twists of authentic Bulgarian flavours. The menu is seasonal and the ingredients are from local producers. The service is outstanding. If you get the chance to visit during the summer try the taramasalata for starters and the beef cheeks for a main. I am hoping in autumn they will bring back the Bulgarian pasta - yufka with forest mushrooms. It's heavenly. You're not going to go wrong with the chocolate galaxies for dessert. This dinner may have been one of the best meals I've ever had. Do NOT skip dessert. The restaurant is beautiful, the style incredible!I'm not a big fan of truffle but ordered the beef cheeks anyway and it may have fully converted me to the beauty of truffle. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable - every course was full presented to us in English. Alexander sent us off with some wonderful recommendations of other great food and cocktail locations in the city.Definitely looking forward to more meals at Cosmos before we go home!

Amazing food, amazing service, nice interior, love the cosmos theme and small touches, the attention to details. It's expensive - yes, but a real treat overall -> strong recommend if you can afford it

A breath of fresh air in Sofia. Overall the prices are very high, but you get what you pay for; an awesome tasting menu and an incredible atmosphere. The staff are also incredible, it was quite an experience being there. Would highly recommend a visit.

Perfect experience as usual. Service was 11/10! Food was mind blowing and the desserts melted our hearts! It's always a pleasure coming back to Cosmos, it's such a special place. I recommend it for everyone longing for a premium experience! The sidetable serving of the eggs was magnificent, the Autumn and Rose desserts were out of this world experience! We ended the evening with a complementary glass of their special digestive and left satisfied.

Not to be missed! We had the five course tasting menu with a wine and cocktail pairing. The attention to detail combined with the use of only local and traditional ingredients was one surprise after another. Add that to the friendly atmosphere and most gracious host. I can’t wait to go back.

You are all the time in Cosmos with so amazing food, wine and ... you can’t imagine- desserts. The music - you have never heard such a lovely playlist. The service is experience for your life. One of the best in Sofia. This is a must.

I took my boyfriend here for his anniversary. We ordered the tasting menu and were stunned at the presentation, care, and creativity that went into each and every dish. The food blew us away and the service did the same. Our waitress was in good humor the entire night and made the experience truly special. We will certainly come back someday.

Completely wonderful ambience, food that melts in your mouth and the service that is beyond the best. For vegans: the staff is very thoughtful and will triple check before offering anything. They have a variety of veggie dishes that just melt in your mouth. A great place to taste Bulgarian food and have a more fancy evening. Probably in an upper price range for Bulgaria, but seems fair

Outstanding service. So good that the waitress returned me intentionally more change than expected! Never happened to me in Bulgaria! Food was delicious and different! Prices are more than acceptable for this level of service and quality of the food. Professional attitude. Worth to repeat my visit. At least once a week. Innovative concept and good interior but very overpriced, hipster-ized food (caused me some stomachache) . Inconsistent cocktails quality. The only great thing is the service but generally i wouldn't visit here again even if the prices were halved. There are way batter restaurants for Bulgarian cuisine in this part of the city.

Wonderful variety of dishes. Very professional and kind service. Price is around 40€ pp for the menu (+-7 dishes), takes around 2-2.5 hours. Better than some Michelin restaurants I've been at. Highly recommended!

We ended up in this restaurant as the other ones Google showed us around the area were closed and we are so happy that we had lunch here.Service was great without being disruptive. They even explained every single component of each dish. Food was well-represented, had the right quantity and it was also very tasty. It is not the cheapest but we highly recommend this restaurant.

I had the testing ment with my wife, both the vegetarian and with meat options. Both were incredible good. Definitely worth a try. And the ambience is quite modern and interesting as well

Amazing place with high quality, creative, fancy Bulgarian cuisine. Everything is top, from the atmosphere and decoration to the very kind and knowledgeable staff. Food choices and cocktails are one of a kind, so definitely recommend it. Prices are in the upper range.

I chose this place to celebrate a birthday and it delivered quite well on the promise. The dishes were mix of modern and traditional Bulgarian but all with a twist. They were all very good and the atmosphere and service was very nice. Highly recommended for a special event (or not).
